Meet Dr. Bina

Ioana Bina, MD, Ph.D., is an integrative medicine physician. She specializes in personalized medicine with a focus on optimizing nutritional and biochemical imbalances, the gut microbiome, hormonal stress response and brain health, and environmental/mold toxicities by using advanced testing, nutrition, lifestyle changes, nutraceuticals, and medications in the most gentle way to help you restore your health balance. She works as a consultant in conjunction with your current healthcare team.  

Dr. Bina has completed her Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Nutrition Fellowship training at Yale University, Connecticut, and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.   She completed advanced studies in Endocrinology Metabolism and Nutrition at Rouen University, France. Dr. Bina holds her MD and Ph.D. in Endocrinology from Carol Davila University, Bucharest, Romania, and has completed additional advanced training in integrative and functional medicine. She is a  member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Bina also serves as an advisor for a healthcare start-up.
